Duration: 6 month contract
Job Description:
Overall Purpose: Responsible for design, development, testing, debugging and production support of iOS, Android or Windows mobile applications (apps) for various internal organizations.
Android Required Skills:
· Must be able to work in the United States
· 3+ years of experience writing Android apps
· Strong understanding of Android design principles, patterns and best practices
· Expert knowledge of Android and Java.
· Knowledge of programming design patterns, object oriented reusable code, MVC, memory management, thread safety, cacheing, consuming web services, etc.
· Experience publishing to the Google Play and maintaining versions of an application
· Familiarity and experience with push notifications
· Ability to analyze and understand current code implementation.
· Ability to debug other developers' code
· Solid understanding of RESTful APIs
· Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
