My client is looking for Sr. Performance QA Engineer in Westlake Village, CA (LOCAL ONLY). This is 6+ months contract position and the rate depends on experience.
The Sr. QA Performance Engineer participates in the Quality Assurance lifecycle with a focus on load and performance test activities surrounding the client's set of business services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 9+ years of software quality assurance test experience
Must have minimum of 3 years focused performance testing experience with an emphasis on test infrastructure development
Must have Visual Studio Ultimate experience
Must have strong QA experience in a .NET environment and C#
Experience designing and developing an automated performance and load test system from the ground up
Working knowledge of load generation and measurement software In-depth experience with performance metrics extraction and reporting tools
Experience creating test plans, test cases and scripts
Knowledge of the entire software development process (SDLC)
Must have worked in an Agile methodology environment
Bachelors degree in a related technical field or equivalent education/work experience
PREFERRED:
Database knowledge (MS SQL Server)
Able to write complex SQL queries and understand data relationships
