Here is the req that I have open. Senior Network Engineer in Cupertino, CA. we are looking for a very senior level (CCIE preferred) must have experience with Cisco Nexus and Firewalls. Please let me know if you have anyone! Preferably in the Bay Area (CA).

Network Engineer

Must-haves

) Cisco Nexus
2) Juniper SRX- Enough to make changes
3) Enterprise Environment

6) follow processes, Change Control, and change management

Plusses

Scripting - any Unix platform

Day-to-Day

Hands on in Nexus Platform in data center environment.
CCIE is junior level for these guys

-Minimum seven years' experience as a network engineer in an operations role - core routing and switching expertise is required
-Experience configuring and debugging systems running Cisco NX OS, JunOS, and Citrix Netscaler
-Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar configurations and in complex systems
-Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills, particularly as it relates to issue diagnosis and resolution
-Experience with network management applications and related protocols such as SNMP and Netflow
-Experience with common routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
-Excellent customer communication skills
-Demonstrable ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
-Prior experience working in a 24/7 operational environment
-Willing to work day, swing and night shifts on a rotating basis
-CCNA/CCNP is strongly preferred

Location   :  New York, NY

Duration   :  6 month

Software Engineer - .Net and SQL Developer

•          General Description of Duties (What will associate do?):

•           Design and develop new applications and modify current systems

•           Support applications, including troubleshooting, analysis, tuning, optimization, and ad hoc workarounds for production applications and reporting projects

•           Work with Business Analysts to gather requirements from clients and end-users

•           Unit test and participate in QA test planning including load and regression testing

•           Document applications and systems and participate in design and code reviews

 

Technical Skills required (please note required proficiency level):

•           5+ years experience in SQL Server 2005/2008 and T-SQL Programming required

•           2+ years experience in .NET programming skills

•           Strong experience writing and maintaining web services in .Net or an equivalent object oriented language

•           Excellent experience creating DTS and SSIS packages

•           Excellent experience in designing databases schemas

•           Strong ability to review, analyze, and re-engineer complex stored procedures and .Net code to increase speed and performance

•           Experience with SQL Reporting Services and Crystal Reports

•           Excellent data analysis and data manipulation skills

•           Any general knowledge of Healthcare is a plus

•           Experience with data transformations and EDI is a plus 

 

Other Qualifications:

•          Excellent logical and analytical programming skills, demonstrated ability to find pro-active solutions

•           Excellent troubleshooting skills and critical thinking skills

•           Strong technology skills and understanding, with the ability to adapt to multiple platforms

•           Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively with managers, end-users, and technical staff

•           Experience with full SDLC, including application definition, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance

•           Proficiency in documentation, particularly design specifications & process flow diagrams

•           Experience with project time estimates

Education Requirements:

B.S. Computer Systems/Technical Area preferred
