Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) is the world's largest wholesale and retail distributor of beauty supplies. Our world headquarters is conveniently located just 5 minutes north of Lake Lewisville off of I35E. 

We currently have an opening for an Dynamics AX Sr. Business Analyst. This position is responsible for the configuration and integration of the Microsoft AX ERP System, software and hardware solutions. This person will  work with business unit leadership to analyze, develop, document, and communicate business requirements for implementing AX Financial Back-office modules as well as ongoing system support.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the development of the Microsoft Dynamics strategic direction for systems development, recognizing MS Dynamics offers significant opportunities to improve the current utilization, process, documentation, communication and quality support.
• Support user education on key functionality.
• Coordinate with both local resources and Corporate IT resources to effectively manage continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with Corporate IT to understand, communicate, and assist the site in managing the best use of the system within the environment.
• Support reporting and data management, work flows, and improvements in methodology and execution.
• Leverage Dynamics use to achieve improvements in both cost and execution of Supply Chain activities
• Acts as the liaison between business units and IT departments
• Completes business cases in support of projects.
• Participates in or facilitates business process modeling and research efforts.
• Acts as a consultant and reviews all documents on project teams.
• Makes recommendations for product enhancements.
• Gathering, Technical and Non-technical Specifications, and assisting the Development team with related tasks and communicate business requirements and ensure that functional designs meet the business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Finance.
• 5-7 years of experience in full life cycle projects as a Business Analyst.
• 5+ years within ERP.
• 3+ years working with Dynamics AX required.
• At least 2 FLC implementation of Dynamics AX.
• 3-6 months working with Dynamics AX2009/2012 or relevant training/courses.
• SSRS/SSIS experience is a plus.
• Implementation and deployment of AX modules and customizations.
• Managing / working with stakeholders and ERP developers.
• Improving back-office / ERP-related issues.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both technical and business focused.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and within all levels of an organization.
• Experience with SQL a plus.
• Experience with an e-commerce or multi-channel retail environment a plus.
