They need Oracle Database DBA who can performance tune Database as well as work from application side for performance tuning.

Looking at rate they need a senior strong person with DBA, Data Analysis, Performance tuning, table structures etc.

 

Position: Sr. Oracle DBA

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6 to 12 Months

 

Description:

·         The candidate will perform performance bottle necks in the database and work their way up

·         They will find performance limitations and look for avenues to increase performance

·         Hiring manager needs the candidate to understand database partitioning, J2ee, with 5-7 years of experience.

·         Looking for prior projects on the resume where it was around performance improvement

·         He wants to see problems/diagnostics/and solutions

·         This position entails working on understanding the current database structure, identify performance improvements at the database level and also at the application level

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

•        8+ years' Oracle database design and tuning experience. Proven Experience in the performance tuning area preferred

•        Strong analytical and problem solving skills enabling comprehension of complex business and product issues

•        Educated or experience writing software in any of the following languages; Java

•        Educated or experience/background in Analysis and Design, ability to write technical documentation, comprehensive testing.

•        Experience with web services, WCF, AJAX, JQuery, MVC, XRM is an added plus

Educated or experience/background in Client Server Architectures, Software Development
