Job Title: Epic Beaker Analyst

Duration: 5+ months

Location: Clear Lake, TX

Description: 

This position provides support, build and implementation of Epic Beaker for AP and CP laboratory. Activities require interaction with internal and external customers of Laboratory and Information Services.   Candidate must have the ability to self-motivate, produce product on schedule and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Specific Job Related Duties:

•        Support, build and implement current and future Beaker application.

•        Test application in multiple systems in preparation for production installation.

•        Participate in one-on-one and team meetings and design sessions to resolve questions and issues.

•        Document the build process and transfer knowledge to Information Services and Laboratory team.

•        Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills.

•        Communicate with the team in onsite team meeting, using email and other electronic means.  Provide a contact telephone number for work purposes.

•        Work onsite in Clear Lake and Galveston up to 40 hours per week.

•        Work onsite during Go-Lives for support

•        Be able to work independently and in teams in onsite and offsite environments.

Education/Experience:

•        Extensive knowledge of, and hands on experience in build, implementation and support of Beaker AP and CP Laboratory is a requirement.

•        Certified in Epic Beaker CP and AP is a requirement

•        Solid AP Build and Support Experience may be considered in lieu of EPIC AP Certification

•        Robust knowledge of Laboratory procedures is a requirement

•        Prior Clinical Lab experience is a plus

•        Prior employment with Epic is a plus

•        Reporting experience with Reporting Workbench and Clarity is a plus

•        Must be able to collaborate well with team of both technical and clinical people
