Title: Business Analyst

Looking for an experienced PeopleSoft HR Business Analyst to work embedded on an agile support team. This role will include research and requirements efforts for system enhancements as well as possibly responding to incidents.

Description:
- The Business Analyst III is responsible for preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations in compliance with standards, policies and methodologies.
-  Gather and synthesize functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy.
-  Execute gap analyses between business requirements and best practices.
-  Develop business cases, process and business test strategy, case, and execution.
-  6 years of experience in business analysis or process development role. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related.

Client is currently re-tooling the POS application they provide to their clients (including CVS, Walgreens, Bass Pro, etc.). They are in need of 3 new Java Developers with at least 5+ years of experience.

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

·         At least 5+ years of Java development experience

·         Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate

·         Moderate knowledge of retail/ point-of-sale (POS) applications

·         Back-end database experience with DB2, MySQL

·         Code applications, prepare test data and define test cases

·         Provide application support in the areas of both end-user problem resolution and production system operation.

·         Requires solid understanding of supported business processes.

GENERAL FUNCTION:
