Position : server application Consultant

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Duration : 6 months

 

JD

·         Developer who has 5+ years of experience in client/server application development with focus on delivery and quality.

·         Experience with different types of testing (Unit, Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, etc. )  

·         Source code analysis, static code scan, branch versus trunk based development and the strategy around it

·         Code compilation outside of IDEs

·         Packaging, delivery and installation into target environments (via Octopus, UrbanCode, home grown automation)

·         Target environment topology, change management process and auditability

·         Experience working with Continuous Application Delivery toolsets such as TFS, TeamCity, or UrbanCode

Job Description & Responsibilities:

 

·         This developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications to support both internal and external customers.

·         You will be responsible for owning each application from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, launch and post go-live support. 

Job Responsibilities

·         Design and build new native mobile applications for the iOS platform

·         Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

·         Collaborate with business and IT teams to define, design, develop and launch new features

·         Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

·         Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

·         Support the business with other ad hoc development needs

Job Requirement

·         Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

·         Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

·         Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

·         Should provide references of at least 2 apps being launched to the App Store on which the developer has worked

·         Able to develop Native iPhone applications using Objective C

·         Should be able to understand the memory usage, object references and performance oriented coding

 

·         Should understand the Apple user interface and coding standards

·         Able to work on Agile and Test driven development

·         Able to work on unit testing, code coverage tools for Objective C

·         Good in communication - written and verbal communication skills.

3-5 years of technical infrastructure and support experience in an Enterprise Environment.
Design, implement, And support Hyperion infrastructure and services
Maintain system documentation, logs, and work instructions

Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
