Job Description:

Desired Skills:

·         BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)

·         5+ years of application development experience, preferably with experience in Financial Services or High Volume Transaction Systems. These applications must have been deployed to production. Prefer that candidate has led an application project for the entire software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.

·         Must be experienced with J2EE applications, including Servlets, EJBs, and distributed systems (e.g. RMI, JNDI).

·         Must also have knowledge of and experience with UNIX, web-based applications, relational databases (Oracle or Informix), scripting languages (SQL / PERL), HTML/CSS, XML/XSLT and UML. Backend workflow/processing and REST services. Knowledge of system performance and tuning is a plus.

·         Technical ability with an emphasis on quality and a sense of urgency to deliver.

·         The ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly, often through spoken &/or written means.

·         Entry/Medium-level experience with any ESB products (Service Mix, Mule, Synapse etc)

Job Description:

 

This position requires a talented engineer that must have a solid understanding of Web Application Servers.  The engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing support and administration of the enterprises web applications.

The candidate selected must have some experience in a UNIX/LINUX environment with some or all of the following application servers:  LAMP Stack, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Apache, and JBoss Application Server.

 

The candidate also must be able to solve problems related to performance and other configuration related problems.

 

A solid understanding of the different load balancing techniques is also needed.

 

 Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1.       Install, configure and manage WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Server, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, LAMP Stack, and other web-oriented applications as necessary.

2.       Experience with clustering and load balancing of application servers.

3.       Experience with Java/J2EE, .NET, and PHP Web Application administration and deployment.

4.       Solid knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) and/or Linux(Redhat) – performance, scripting (Bash, Perl, and ant)

5.       Experience with MySQL, LDAP, and Oracle.

6.       Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both business and technical counterparts. Detail oriented. Strong  project/time management skills.

7.       Solid understanding of additional components - Windows, databases, networking, etc.

8.       Experience with F5 LTM Load Balancer is defnite plus.

Position Summary:
The Tester will verify that the SAP-HR and MSS portal under test meets project requirements by performing system testing after initial development has been completed.

 

The Tester should have a solid understanding of:
Test process/methodology
Test tools (HP Quality Center)

 

The Tester should also have a strong knowledge of:
SAP-HR module
SAP-HR Test data preparation
Data driven testing and analysis
Test Case creation and execution, Metrics reporting.
Test preparation and test execution processes in HP-Quality Center

 

Requirements:
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience,
5+  years  experience in the area of SAP-HR Testing
3 years experience with HP-QC tool
