SAS Analyst programming skills to support ongoing operations and enhancements to the Client billing application in order to ensure timely processing of roughly 1.2 billion dollars a year in claims supporting over 30,000 persons enrolled on waivers supported by over 17,000 providers. The Analyst must have knowledge of using SAS in a batch (not interactive) environment. The Analyst must be able to create and manipulate SAS datasets using the SET and INPUT statements. The Analyst must be comfortable with using the following SAS command verbs and PROCs:
Candidate must be able to talk about, Modeling, Regretion, Analytics, and Monte Carlo...these are the important parts of the job, they may have been a developer/programmer in the past but would have at least 50 percent of the resume doing the Modeling skills.
He thinks these candidates will be more expensive also.
He did say if we talk to these three candidates and they have good experience with what is above and just did not list on resume he would do a phone screen.
