POS: Jr. Linux Systems Engineer / Admin

LOC: NYC(F2F requires)

Duration: 6+ Months

 

They want someone junior – 3 yrs experience.

 

Start-up experience is preferred

Must have great comm. skills. 

 

- 3+ years Linux/Unix systems engineering and admin experience

- Experience with deploying, managing and monitoring commercial, consumer facing applications on cloud based services such as Amazon, Heroku, Engine Yard

- Tools: Puppet, New Relic

- Scripting Experience: PHP, bash, Ruby

- Languages: Nice to have some experience with Java, C/C++

- Startup experience a plus

- Experience building servers (hardware and software) and deploying into a hosted "rack-and-stack" environment
