Location : NJ,USA

Duration: 3 months Plus

Offshore/Onsite:Onsite

Years of Experience: 8 yrs

Job Description:

• A data modeler develops and maintains logical and physical data models, builds data migration strategies and works with the client's information technology team to understand data requirements. The modeler also oversees the work of junior programmers and provides system troubleshooting assistance.
• Responsible for the fundamental organization of a system embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and to the environment, and the principles guiding its design and evolution.
• Should have experience in development of the Enterprise Logical Data Model (LDM). Facilitating the JAD sessions to determine data rules and conducting LDM Reviews with Data SMEs.
• Applies client Standards, checks models in and out of Model Repository, and documents data model translation decisions.
• Should have experience in usage of data profiling tools and techniques, and development of review and QA data requirements.
• 7+ years prior data analyst experience preferred
• Should have experience in using data modeling tools like Erwin etc
• Should have knowledge around data warehousing, business intelligence and ERP initiatives
• Logical Design Demonstrated experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise
• Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels
• Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges
• It is advantageous to have an outstanding programming skills and readiness of ideas in a data modeler role.
• Designating relationships between data fields, performing on the blue print for a design which extremely will get physically built on the equipment    
• Reviewing a company's data accounting and processing methods and ensuring that the applications and data assets run sufficient and effectively.    
• Responsible for progressing and maintaining official description of the data and data formation.
