The Test/UAT Lead develops, manages and leads test and UAT efforts on highly complex Citrix on Citrix projects.
The Test Lead manages a virtual test team and is the overall owner of the test effort.
• Works with the Project Manager and Functional Lead to define project-specific test processes
• Estimates and plans the system test effort
• Ensures the creation of test documentation
• Manages the execution of the test effort and day-to-day operations of the virtual team
• Reports on test status and raises test-related risks
Qualifications (include knowledge, skills, abilities, and related work experience)
• Solid understanding of test process/methodology
• Expert in the area of testing with an understanding of testing tools
• Design and development strategy and tools
• Risk identification and management
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Must be flexible, dependable and able to work on weekends if needed
• Excellent teamwork attitude is extremely important
Functional/Technical Requirements (include education, certifications, and training)
• 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience,
• 6+ years in the area of Testing
• 3+ years in the role of Test Lead
• Prior experience leading system test efforts
• Exposure to formal IT project lifecycle methodology
