RDB Skills
•Installation and Configuration of RDB in Open VMS platform
•Oracle RMU
•Experience in Monitoring and Supporting Production environment
•Handling Backup/ Recovery of the DB, Online By-Area and By-Page Restore and Recovery Operations
•Patching
•Security Auditing setup
•Performance monitoring and Tuning
Oracle DBA skills
•Must possess good experience in Database Administration, Installation and configuration of 10g & 11g on various Linux/UNIX platforms
•Production Support Experience
•ASM Configuration, setting up ASM Disks
•Experience in setup and support of Data Guard/Stand By DBs
•Experience in RMAN
•Experience in handling large OLTP and DWH environments
•Knowledge in Shell Scripting
•Experience in Database upgrades and Platform Migration
•Experience in Netezza is a Plus
