Role: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: Detroit, MI

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this position including the following:
* Identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to evaluate issues that support prospective business decisions, and to coordinate multiple projects for senior management while prioritizing them based on guidance from management.
* Accreditation standards reporting design and delivery to key stakeholders
* Provide research, analysis, identification, and evaluative data from assigned problems to identify existing and potential trends and issues
* Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Our Client's business, products, programs (including provider data, networks, etc.), corporate organizational structure (including functional responsibilities), and basic research principles/methodologies
* Assist in the management and monitoring of multiple projects simultaneously by establishing project plans and objectives to ensure goal attainment within defined parameters
* Communicate results of analysis to management via reports/presentations and assist management in implementing programs that provide solutions
* Recommend, communicate, and implement solutions to identified problems/root cause of issues
* Provide expertise and guidance to unit and corporate staff as required. Represent and participate in group or committee discussions
* Predictive modeling ¿ the identification and prioritization of candidates for care management intervention
* Modeling of program cost, pricing, and savings for proposed customer solutions
* Data Analytics to support program performance measurement

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our job description includes the following requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or other related field is required
* Master's degree in related field preferred
* Strong communication skills are required to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas
* Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc)
* Working knowledge of data languages such as SAS or SQL
* Strong analytical, organizational, planning and problem solving skills
* Ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels
* Understand and apply statistical inference
* Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job
* Strong analytical and evaluative skills including data management
* Understanding of health care industry, knowledge of clinical and health care data analysis.
* Ability to plan, organizes, direct and control projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement projects.
* Proficient in mainframe and PC applications including data management, word processing, and spreadsheets.
* Analytic experience required with proven experience in operational analysis, data analysis, and problem resolution type activities.

Education Requirements:
Senior - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
