UI Developer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 6+months Contract

 

REQUIRED: 
*Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript.
*Solid understanding and use of the DOM, JSON, object-oriented JavaScript, and Ajax.
*Experience utilizing the following JavaScript frameworks/libraries (or writing your own frameworks):
*jQuery / jQuery UI
*Underscore
*Backbone, Model View Controller
*Expert-level proficiency in XHTML and CSS. Must be able to hand-code standards compliant XHTML and CSS.
*Understanding of optimization techniques to reduce page size and load times to enhance user experience (sprites, minification, lazy loading, YSLOW standards, etc.)
*Expert-level proficiency in developing against deployed REST APIs. Experience with integrating major 3rd party APIs (Facebook Open Graph, Twitter, Google Maps, YouTube, Open Social, etc) is a plus.
*Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
