Hi,

We're looking for a strong Sybase/Java Developer resource for the below mentioned position. Please go through the requirement and let me know if you are available.

Position : Sybase/Java Developer

Location :Jersey City--NJ

Duration : Long Term

Responsibilities:

·         Develop stored procedures, packages, triggers, tables, views, etc.

·         Manage a variety of business processes.

·         Should be able to work independently.

·         Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new/diverse technologies like Oracle, Tibco, BO, etc.

·         Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple diverse teams across multiple geographic locations and organizations.

·         Ability to work on large scale projects with multiple developers.

·         As projects go live, there may be on-call support needed during off hours. Majority of on-call support will be managed by the India or US team.

Qualifications:

·         3+ years of coding in SQL programming

·         Experience in designing, coding, testing procedures, packages, triggers & PL/SQL

·         Good experience with performance tuning of queries including parallel.

·         3+ years of working in a Unix/Linux environment including basic shell scripting.

·         Experience with core Java. Should be able to write basic programs like connecting to a database and processing a result set.

·         Leadership and mentoring skills

·         Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

·         Preference given to individuals with experience in the financial services industry
