Required:

VMware 4.x and 5.x administration skills ------------------------------- Required 5 Years 3 – Expert

VMware infrastructure trouble shooting and tuning----------------- Required 5 Years 3 – Expert

Installing and configuring VMware 4.x and 5.x environment----- Required 6 Years 2 – Expert

Redhat Linux 5.x and 6.x administration--------------------------------- Required 6 Years 3 – Expert

Indepth understanding of Linux Operating system------------------- Required 6 Years 3 – Expert

Knowledge of NFS/GFS 2----------------------------------------------------- Required 4 Years 2 –Proficient

 

 

Job Description:
Engineer will be a part of the Linux/VMware team working on multiple new enterprise projects involving RHEL (Red Hat), and VMware ESX 4.x, 5.x.
The engineer will be involved in multiple Linux and VMware projects. installation of new application modules, configuration of new hardware/platforms, testing of new applications and systems onto the new platforms.
The job requires 24 x 7 service coverage.
Strong experience in troubleshooting, design, implementation, and special configuration in all aspects of Linux and VMware infrastructure Internet applications and development, software development, and related fields.
Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management. 
Selected Candidate may be required to work outside normal business hours on occasion
