Sr. Web Developer Needed In NYC !!
Candidates must be local and available for a F2F interview.
Responsibilities:
Establish the front-end framework and lead front end web development utilizing responsive web design, progressive enhancement and web performance optimization. -- Review mocks, bring them to life on desktop and connected devices -- Develop interactive components using JavaScript and jQuery, integrate with internal tools, frameworks and services as well as external APIs -- Lead design and development of back-end systems to support -- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams of developers, product and project managers, editors and designers
Qualifications: Qualifications / Skills: -- 5-7 years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript -- 3+ years of experience with HTML5/CSS3 -- Expert level knowledge of building multi-platform web sites using Responsive Web Design (media queries, progressive enhancement, feature detection and etc.) -- Experience with Backbone.js, async loaders like LABjs or RequireJS -- Experience with CSS generators like SASS / LESS -- Experience working with 3rd party content and APIs, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & etc. -- Experience with Web Performance Optimization (WPO) -- Experience using Git in team environment
