Position:- PTC Test Engineer
Location:- Pittsburgh, PA
Duration:- Long Term Contract
We have 3 position open
1) Test lead – 1 position
2) Test engineer – 2 position
Please provide profiles as per the requirements below:-
Looking for Automation testers with experience in railway or transport domain.
As integration and test engineer you work with system integration and test of software intense embedded systems. You work with integration and system test of Positive Train Control solutions. You develop, automate and perform tests to prove that the system meets its functional, safety and availability targets.1. Development of Test specifications/procedures based on analysis of requirements, architecture and interface descriptions of the signaling system.
2. Development of Regression Test Plans/Specifications based on analysis of product changes.
3. Specify and order equipment for Lab set-ups for projects.
4. Participate in technical meetings with system and sub-system engineers from Pittsburgh and other sites in order to define Test specifications/procedures and also to provide early input of testability aspects to product development.
5. Develop test scripts for automated test suites in accordance with Test specifications/procedures.
6. Execute tests, manually and automatically.
7. Interface with test technicians to describe how tests should be run and how the system works.
8. Document test execution results in Test reports and Non-conformity reports (defects) if applicable. Communicate with the developers regarding issues and failures.
9. Interface with Simulator engineers.
10. Support test execution in field, either from Pittsburgh or on site.
11. Perform requirements tracing to Test specifications/procedures and Test cases in order to prove sufficient coverage of system and sub-system requirements.
12. Verify Test documentation.
13. Continuously improve the Test process by defining improvements for increasing quality and reducing cost.
14. Mentor and train less experienced engineers.
