Job Title: QTP Automation Tester
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 7+ months contract

Skills Required:
- QTP: Installing, configuring, and maintaining HP-QTP. Designing, Reviewing, and executing QTP scripts. Identifying/correcting semantic errors and generating test data.
- Automation testing: Design automation framework, create automation test scripts, and manage defects

Description Of Services:
Experience – Technical requirements:
- Extensive experience in automating applications on multiple platforms.
- Expert level proficiency in HP QTP is mandatory, Certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, including but not limited to:
          - Creating test automation strategy
          - Creating test automation framework
          - Designing QTP scripts
          - Reviewing QTP scripts and identifying/correcting semantic errors
          - Generating test data
          - Executing QTP scripts
- Data Manipulation Language (DML) skills and experience is desired.
- Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments

Note from Hiring Manager:
Client wants someone who has experience creating the entire automation framework from scratch
Have a very strong knowledge of VB script, technically strong – not looking for soft script skill
Want them to know complex technology like Citrix and Mainframe.
