Position-  SAP ABAP Consultant

Location- Detroit, MI

Responsibilities: 
* In depth understanding of automotive OEM and warehouse processes 
* Experience working with global SAP template 
* SAP configuration in Sales, Distribution and Inventory Management 
* Coordinate, develop, and participate in execution of test plans 
* Expert in building interface and data conversion 
* Build solution using business requirements 
* Resolve configuration issues associated with product modules in specialty area(s) 
* Maintain conceptual understanding of enterprise software package solutions and related implementation issues from a technical perspective 
* Establish credibility at all levels within the client and builds problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues 
* Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel 
* Conform to best practice guidance and direction from the Solution Delivery and the Production Support teams 
* Experience working across business, functional, and technical areas 
* Involved in 4 or more SAP implementation projects 
* Knowledgeable in SAP Automotive Best Practices 
* Assist in technical design, unit testing and code review and migration 
* Support the blueprint / design process by participating in the analysis of user requirements and the documentation of design specifications 
* Prepare blueprint documents and process documentation 
* Responsible for planning and executing the coordination of technical environments, process readiness, user setup, transports, configuration, backups, training, site readiness and organizational change activities. 


Qualifications: 
* 8+ years of SAP functional / technical experience in designing and implementing complex SAP solutions 
* SAP ECC 6.0 and Enterprise configuration and implementation 
* Excellent client facing consulting skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business 
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
* SAP Modules: SD / MM / IM / WM 
* Experience working with global SAP template 
* Automotive OEM experience / ET2000 experience ( preferable) 
* SAP ASAP methodology 
* Bachelor degree
