Self-motivated front-end web developer, well versed in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Responsibilities will include working closely with the UI Lead, User Experience and Back-end Engineering teams in building rapid prototypes, UI Components and implementing new user interfaces. You will need to be a subject matter exodel expert across the entire UI layer.

Skills:

• 8+ years of UI/Presentation Layer hands-on development experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (strong negotiator).
• Acute knowledge and understanding of JavaScript (outside of JQuery or other abstraction libraries).
• Experience with a JavaScript-MV* framework or library (backbone, ember, knockout, angular, spine etc.).
• Ability to create precise interfaces from wireframes or visual mock-ups using maintainable and reusable code.
• Demonstrable appreciation of UI design best practice (this is not a design role, but must be able to make smart design choices when needed).
• Understanding of RESTful web services and understanding of JSON.
• Master cross-browser HTML and CSS.
• Worked in Agile development environments.
• Ability to keep up with evolving web standards (HTML5, CSS3, Ecmascript 5+) and best practices.
• Self-managed developer, also able to work closely with and incorporate feedback from engineers, user experience team and product managers.

Additional skills:

• Exposure to server side programming (Python, Ruby, Node-js, Java, etc.).
• Developed applications using Spring framework and Spring MVC.
• Understanding of Responsive Design and Development.
