Job Description:
5+ years experience within the Telecommunications Industry
- Testing and validation experience with network equipment utilizing SONET/SDH/OTN required.
- GUI-based element management system test and validation.
- Experience designing, debugging and executing test cases. Experience with automated testing using Tcl/tk required.
- Extensive experience with a variety of test equipment including EXFO and JDSU
- ASON Control Plane and Packet experience highly desirable
- Experience with IBM/Rational and/or Mercury/HP test tools
- Very strong teamwork skills; able to work well with other functional teams including HW/SW Development and Systems Engineering
- Working knowledge of UNIX environments
- Fluent English communication skills in both verbal and written formats are a must.
