Position : Oracle DBA
Location : Cary, NC
Duration : 6+ months
Responsibility
Develop and write high-level and detailed design specs
Design and build robust Oracle database applications
Participate in code and design reviews
Support testing, integration and deployment efforts
Develops technical system documentation
Ensures that applications meet the architectural standards
Skill:
Extensive knowledge in PL/SQL with Oracle 11g (including Oracle utilities, - Quest TOAD, PLSQL Developer, SQL Developer)
Good knowledge of Goldengate replication platform
SQL tuning experience, XML, web services
Excellent UNIX shell scripting
Ability to generate schemas, knowledge of SOA architecture and good documentation skills (Windows office, Visio)
Bachelor degree, or equivalent and 5+ years of job related experience
