Our established client is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer for a contract position in Atlanta. In this role, you will assist in the design and building of data extracts as well as perform T-SQL coding and quality assurance within the database.

Responsibilities:

•             Design, develop, test and troubleshoot ETL packages utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) that implement complex ETL processes from data in multiple formats.

•             Translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems to data warehouses.

•             Developsinterfaces from the staging environment and Data Warehouse to feed data to reporting and external applications.

•             Ensure quality and accuracy of the data mapped from staging environments to the Data Warehouse and to external interfaces.

•             Provide monitoring and support of existing production ETL jobs.

Skills:

•             A minimum of 4 years of experience in development of BI/Data Warehouse solutions via Microsoft SSIS. SQL Server 2008 is required.

•             Strong T-SQL skills including advanced coding and performance and tuning.

•             Strong understanding of DW processes and OLAP concepts, with star and snowflake data models.

•             Experience in dealing with complex and dirty data sources originating in multiple formats.

•             Experience with data modeling, data analysis, data profiling and data mapping.

•             Experience utilizing source control software. TFS preferred.
