Role: Quality Assurance Analyst (F2F Interview)

Location: Collegeville, PA

Duration: 12+ months

High level responsibility: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance lead, the Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) will be responsible for writing test cases for the backlog items assigned as well as testing the actual functionality during the sprint to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.  The QA Analyst will be responsible for keying in any defects found during the sprint or regression testing into Team Foundation Server (TFS).  The QA analyst will assist with smoke testing during deployments.  The QA analyst will be responsible for regression testing the application, when needed.  The QA analyst will participate in the daily scrum and defect status meetings.  The QA analyst will be responsible for working with the developers on clarification or providing further information for defects entered. The QA analyst may work on automated test scripts or writing unit test within the code.  The QA analyst may participate in technical data validation.

Requirements:  

•             Good communication and writing skills

•             Ability to write test cases

•             4+ years of QA analysis experience a MUST

•             Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) or other defect tracking system a MUST

•             Automation skills a plus

•             SQL knowledge a plus

•             Scrum/agile methodology a plus
