Java Developer

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Skype Hire

ONLY GC/USC/EAD-GC

Must Haves:

•             Minimum 5 years software development experience including 3 years of combined Java and/or JavaScript programming experience

•             Strong experience and desire to work in an Agile development environment.

                *Previous experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) strongly preferred.

•             Thorough understanding of and experience in object oriented design and programming

Preferred:

•             Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience

•             3+ years of direct working experience delivering product in a software development environment

•                     Effectively communicate with both technology staff and non-technology staff.

•                     Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

•             Experience with one or more database systems, such as MySql, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j

•             Experience with AWS and cloud-hosted applications

•             Experience with a wide variety of software development applications, environments, and languages

•             Continuously learn and grow with industry-leading practices, processes, and technologies while mentoring others.

•             Continuously act to enhance knowledge of new technologies, business processes, and project management skills, staying abreast of trends, latest industry developments and knowledge sharing among colleagues
