Job Details:
Works jointly with the Lead Developer to design, test, build, and implement new applications, and application enhancements. This may include web or mobile solutions, data modeling, mining and reporting solutions, business workflows, UI/UX, and other as needed.
Handle all aspects of programming, database through to the UI.
Support the first in a series of new SaaS corporate applications built on the .Net platform.
Adhere to the best-practice framework established for the application suite.
Demonstrates a solid knowledge of building web applications in a SaaS model.
Strong knowledge and adherence to the SDLC, will assist with establishing standards and processes for development team
Assists with application design and systems integration
Identifies, diagnoses, debugs, and resolves application issues and gaps in functionality.
Performs testing of solutions, including proper solution documentation, test plans, and results.
Demonstrates awareness of overall IT infrastructure and what tools/data are available for use or extension when solving problems
Works with team to properly plans, coordinate and schedule rollouts and deployments
Communicates effectively with a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical, internal and external), and in a wide range of settings (e.g., one-on-one, small group, in person, conference calls and via e-mail).
Works with team members is different geographic locations, ensures effective collaboration and communication in this model
Documents properly, including in-code, solution design documents and supporting materials.
Keeps current on technical, industry and business trends.
Strong problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
Works with confidential and proprietary company and client data.
Contributes to team development and performance to achieve team goals.
Performs other work and tasks as required
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 2+ years industry experience
2+ years specific experience building solutions in .NET
Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, XSL/XSLT, JavaScript, and AJAX
In-depth knowledge of various framework elements ORM, MVC, AJAX, UI, Secure Coding Practices.
Knowledge of application and system administration is required, including supporting platforms such as Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS
Experience with team development tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio
Knowledge of DNS and networking is preferred
Self-starter; ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal direct supervision
Strong attention to detail, and ensuring solutions meet business and user requirements
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
