Job Title : Senior Middleware Administrator / Engineer

Location:    Wilmington, DE / Mclean,VA

Duration:     6 Months +

 

Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills: IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Production, Support

This position is responsible for supporting, managing and implementing all internal and external applications used to support various business units.

This position will function as the Tier 2 and 3 application support function for various applications.

This role will ensure that established customer service and system availability targets are met.

Successful incumbent will also be responsible for providing 2nd level development support and interfacing with developers of various systems and applications.

Responsible for deployment of application systems the implementation of efficient cost effective application solutions.

Will analyze, design, implement, validate and document application solutions to help provide outstanding service to the businesses supported.

This may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware technologies and tools.

 

Main Skills and Technologies:

- Apache Tomcat

- IIS

- UNIX/Linux

- Windows

- Excellent written and verbal communication
