Job description:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day implementation and operations of one or more OneCity Health programs
or projects designed to meet DSRIP transformation goals, across partners who serve one or more boroughs in the city of New York. Program
efforts are focused on achieving improved overall health through integration of behavioral health and primary care, provision of appropriate levels
of care management, and care delivery models designed to improve chronic disease prevention and outcomes.
To support successful implementation, the Business Analyst is expected to develop and oversee a defined set of management, tracking, and
reporting tools, and to establish effective working relationships with interdisciplinary clinical and operational teams across partner organization.
Core Job Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining templates and tools to track project progress, drive decision making, and facilitate communication across OneCity
Health projects and regional hubs . Tools may include status reports, dashboards, issue tracking and resolution lists, databases, distribution lists, and meeting facilitation materials. • Maintaining and updating work plans, tracking progress against plans, and identifying risks to successful
project completion. • Assisting in the development of necessary documents, including but not limited to performance reports and financial
reports, which will be used by the CSO to complete quarterly reports required by the state. • Supporting the day-to-day operations of DSRIP
initiatives at implementation sites, working closely with and supporting non-CSO facility-based staff to facilitate timely and effective completion of
deliverables required as part of the DSRIP Project Plan Application. • Develop and maintain working relationships with local partners in any joint
DSRIP implementation efforts. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required (master's preferred) in public health, public administration, public policy, health care specialization, or business
administration from a leading institution with a proven record of academic excellence. • 1-3 years of relevant healthcare experience. • A
self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment. • Strong computer skills,
including expert-level knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel. • Understanding of federal and state healthcare initiatives and regulations,
including the DSRIP Program. • Experience with work plans, budgets, and performance and financial reporting. • Excellent written and oral
presentation skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, build credibility and engender trust across all levels of an organization. • Ability to prioritize
responsibilities, handle multiple projects simultaneously and delegate responsibilities when appropriate. • Ability to make complex decisions with
imperfect information
