Must-haves
1+ year of experience of Hadoop development experience
2+ years of Java development experience
SQL scripting experience
Shell scripting experience
Comfortable working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment
Experience working with all of the following: Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Pig Script, Map Reduce, HDFS \
Solid verbal and written communication

Role:
Looking to add a Hadoop Developer to join one of our Healthcare clients in the Greater St. Louis area. This person will be responsible for working with five other developers and an Architect to build out our clients new Hadoop ecosystem. This person will be responsible for loading data into HBase, using Hive to query data, cleansing data with Pig, and using Map Reduce to analyze the data.
