Title: Cloud Engineer
Colorado Springs, CO
Duration: 6+ Months
Required Skills:
2+ years' experience with AWS or Rackspace
Linux implementation and admin experience
Production Deployments
Additional Skills:
• 2+ years supporting highly available cloud based operations environments (AWS, Rackspace, etc)
• Experience supporting RDS environments
• 2+ years of enterprise systems implementation and administration experience in Linux servers
• Good working knowledge and experience with network and security administration and troubleshooting
• Good working knowledge and experience in troubleshooting systems issues, capacity planning and performance tuning
• Experience with automation, capacity and configuration management (RightScale, Chef, CloudFormation, Cloudability) a big plus
• Previous experience utilizing scrum / agile methodologies is preferred
• Previous experience with production deployment tools like Jenkins and AnthillPro are a plus
• Previous experience scripting is preferred
• Must be a team player – ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a positive "win-win" way.
• Proven self-starter with track record of managing multiple complex tasks, without need of close supervision
• Excellent communicator – excellent verbal and written skills required
