****notes:  MUST have EIGHT YEARS Overall automation testing & TWO YEARS coding experience with Java and/or Python experience.  Experience Building Automation from the ground up and working with HUGE AMOUNTS OF DATA!!*****

DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

·  Work closely with Developers on Agile squads to deliver quality features

·  Design and Develop automated tests for new features and integrate them into build pipelines.

·  Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities

·  Debug test failures and either update tests or report defects

·  Assist Developers in debugging the defects.  

·  Provide test coverage for the automation.

·  Actively participate in design and code review discussions

Requirements:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

·  2+ years of experience in Java software development OR relevant combination of education and experience

·  Experience in end to end integration automation for application servers including white box api testing.

·  Experience in web application test automation with Selenium, Webdriver

·  Proficient with programming in Java or python

·  Experienced in continuous integration testing concept and familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins)

·  Comfortable working with BIG data technologies like Hadoop, Vertica and databases for test set-up and trouble-shooting purposes

·  Solid understanding and knowledge of quality assurance processes and methods used in software development

·  Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably SCRUM

·  Ability to multitask and function independently with minimal direction
