Role: : Performance Test Engineer

Location: Newark, CA or Elk Grove, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Requirements:

Assist with the performance testing of several applications / environments, both in-house and 3rd party developed.

Knowledge and experience working with HP Performance Center is mandatory, developing test scripts from scratch, executing and generating reports.

Specifically:

• Application performance testing (regular release cycles)

• Application performance testing (special projects and off-cycle releases)

• Infrastructure performance testing

• Ability to understand complex application architecture(s) and develop scripts accordingly to accurately test performance

• Based on provided specifications, ability to develop test data sets to simulate production application environments

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience developing C language code specifically for performance testing within LoadRunner/Performance Center

Participate, assist, or lead in:

• Requirements gathering for internal applications

• Script development

• Test plan design

• Infrastructure monitoring setup

• Test execution / result gathering

• Test analysis and reporting

• Generate & prepare reports for distribution to application teams & management

Performance Center:

• Integration with system performance monitoring (Windows monitoring, Site Scope, and others as decided by Apple)

• Follow up on any Performance Center identified bugs, issues, or maintenance:

• Apply any required patches / upgrades to Performance Center

• Support any issues, bugs, enhancement requests with Performance Center via HP support channels
