Python/Perl Developer with Scripting (Unix, Shell/Korn)

Spring Valley, NY

Long Term Contract

The type of work they would be doing is –

·         Linux shell scripting – solid proven skills of complex file parsing, sorting of data, manipulation of data

·         Perl or Python scripting – need solid experience with complex scripting in one of these languages

·         Need the person to provide a complex script (shell or perl or python) they have written and review it with us as part of the interview process

·         Troubleshooting issues in production, looking at logs, reproducing the issue in test etc

·         Working with test team in an Agile dev environment

·         apache and tomcat admin work to help with implementing a session caching approach

·         experience with memcached/redis (session caching in tomcat) would be a PLUS
