Title: Sr. Software Engineer ( Looking to hire 3 by May 9)
Location: Peoria, IL 61610
Duration: 12+ months
Senior Software Engineer.
Person will be responsible for performing requirements analysis and decomposition, developing machine software application-level features, debugging/optimizing code, creating test plans and performing software unit and integration testing.
Person must have hands on experience independently desiging, implementing software programs in C, testing and integrating small or medium-sized software solutions in an agile environment.
In addition, person is responsible for overseeing the quality and compliance of the software developed. Person will need to mentor junior software team memebers and train individuals in the basic principles of embedded software development as needed.
Person will be working with the leadership team to understand the customer requirements, the system design and defining new product requirements.
Skills required:
Must Have:
- 5+ years experience w/ BS Degree or better in Math, CS, CE or EE Engineering
- Senior-Level Embedded SW Engineer with 5+ Years of Embedded C Applications Development experience.
- Experience in Requirements analysis, decomposition and documentation.
- Embedded Applications Development for Control Systems OR Digital Signal Processing (DSP) experience (having both would be a huge plus).
- Experience with Model Based Development using Matlab/Simulink
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in Peoria, IL.
