Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?

The implementation of a new Quality & Risk System in all markets within the Mt. West Region (AZ, NV & UT)

Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team?If so, please describe the team? (Name of team, size of team, etc.)

Part of the Mt. West System Support Team

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)

• Acts as liaison between the Mt West Region local care delivery markets and other IT Partners, Corporate Business and IT Partners, and Vendor Partners
• Lead and provide technical analysis on system support requests from various areas of the company which involves research gathering, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, etc.
• Facilitate implementation of operational data strategies and identify dependencies across programs and/or platforms
• Collaborate with business and IT leads to identify critical path and risks associated with various projects and initiatives
• Monitor on-going data exchanges, strategies and data quality across the Mt. West Regions and escalate issues as necessary
• Establish system documentation for the Mt. West Region operations and the local care delivery markets
• Gather and coordinate internal and external business/functional requirements and develop use cases from various areas across the organization
• Assist with the design specifications and system architecture
• Assist with the planning and execution of Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing efforts

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

What skills/attributes are a must have?

• 3+ years of professional experience as an IT/Business Systems Analyst

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

• Previous United HealthGroup or subsidiary work experience
• 1+ year or professional experience working with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
• 1+ year of IT Project Management experience

Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred Health Care Company facility, if other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.)

Prefer LV Office, but will consider Remote

What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc)

Typical 8am-5pm
