This recruitment is for a Project Manager II position in the DCF Family Supports/Enterprise Section. The individual in the position will lead a development team in an effort to modernize the current Finance systems into state of the art web based systems at DCF. The person in this role will lead a five person development team to support this business area.

The individual in this position will:

 

• Be the face of IT for the Division of Management Services, and Bureau of Finance within DCF
• Be responsible for technical and overall project management on large and small projects. Develop project charters, plans, deliverables and other project artifacts.
• Work closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks. Solve complex technical problems. Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis.
• Build an effective team and direct the work of the project team to meet project milestones. Research new technology and develop business cases.

• IT Technologies - skills, concepts * 7 Yrs.
• Requirements analysis * 3 Yrs.
• Requirements gathering * 3 Yrs.

 

Nice to Have Skills:

 

• Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports to manage inventory, analyze cost, and maximize return on investment of monetary and human resources * 3 Yrs.
• Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation * 3 Yrs.
• State of Wisconsin Privacy Regulations
