Title: Developer w/Jira exp
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 3 Months contract
MUST HAVES:
Experience customizing and enhancing Jira (not just using it as a way to identify bugs)
3-5 years of Web based Java development
Oracle and PL/SQL

Role:
Jira is used as a way to identify bugs in software. MAXIMUS has customized Jira to create tasks. They are pulling data from Oracle databases and then using Jira to create tasks. Usually when you make an appointment with a doctor and end up no showing to your appointment or cancelling without at least a 24 hr notice, they charge you your copay. This is not the case with people on Medicaid. MAXIMUS created a missed appointment task to handle this issue which is tracked my Jira. The state wants to enhance Jira with 3 or 4 additional tasks.
