Project Manager / Business Analyst with Scrum Master experience   

Summary

Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst with extensive Scrum Master to join their team of developers, testers, customer leads and management. Client is in the continuous process of adopting Scrum and Agile methodologies within the organization. The selected candidate will be the scrum master for multiple scrum teams with a focus on guiding them towards better understanding and benefits of Scrum.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, software development lifecycle experience, and experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment using Team Foundation Server (TFS ) and is able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team and  willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done

Responsibilities

·         Will coordinate and facilitate Scrum meetings such as, daily standup, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives

·         Notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management

·         Understand other processes and methodologies and  speak intelligently about them to team and management

·         Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development

·         Understand backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition

·         Will assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed

·         Will act as a project manager when necessary.

·         Adapt, be flexible, and work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment

Required Skills

·         5 - 7 years' experience  as a Project Manager / Business Analyst

·         MUST - Previous experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and is able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are understood and adhered to.

·         Strong technical skills, software development lifecycle experience Is able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are understood and adhered to

·         Has at least 3 years' experience working in an agile environment, preferably in a variety of situations.

·         Previous experience in productively utilizing Team Foundation Server (TFS)

·         Is able to work under tight deadlines while coordinating several projects at a time and responding to changing business and technical conditions
