Oracle Financials Technical – should have GL module, Perl, SQL
Banking exp a plus:
Experience and Responsibilities:
l Analyze requirements and generate functional and technical specifications.
l Develop technical solutions for identified requirements.
l Resolve production related issues.
l Escalate issues to team management and end users in a timely manner.
Experience:
• Candidate should have minimum 5+ years experience in the IT industry with financial background or 8+ years in the IT industry if there is no financial background.
• Minimum 5+ years Oracle Financials development experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of SQL programming.
• Preferred 3+ years of Perl programming.
• Candidate should have knowledge of General Accounting and other back office finance areas.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products, Equities, Financial Regulation and Financial Accounting is desirable.
Work Skills:
• Oracle, Unix (Solaris preferable)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Java, Sybase, J2EE, Unix shell scripts is desirable.
• Team player
• Self starter
• Motivated
• Hard worker
• Responsible
• Ability to multi-task
• Willingness to learn
