Position : Business Analyst
Location : Georgetown, KY
Duration : 3+ Months
Rate : $42/hr
Overview:
Business analyst will team with technical architect to assist client with determining the feasibility of presenting a variety of shop floor applications on mobile devices. Business analyst will understand manufacturing processes, catalogue applications currently in use on shop floor, and team with technical architect to determine feasibility of and plan for replacing current workstation and scanner-based technologies with mobile device-based user interfaces.
Skills and Knowledge Required:·
Good understanding of manufacturing and warehousing business processes.
· General business consulting and project management skills.
· General familiarity with mobile application development and deployment in manufacturing environments a large plus.
· Experience in manufacturing ( automotive is ideal)
· Ability to thoroughly document business practices and facilitate discussions around process.
· Experience in full life-cycle solution delivery projects and program delivery
· Good judgment in understanding how to manage resource capacity especially working with a 3rd party vendor. Knowing when to escalate or provide creative recommendations to resource allocation.
· Experience as a BSA gathering requirements and best practices implementing solutions with various web technologies
· Passion for connecting people with community particularly in the ability to connect with the drivers and passions the team shares.
· Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Lean/Agile delivery environment
· Successful track record dealing with executive level professionals to drive business outcomes and an advocate for the project
· Able to interpret and discuss technical requirements to a nontechnical audience
