Required Skills:
At least 7+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter. Must have worked on Informatica 8.5.1 or above.
Experience leading ETL engagements from design through implementation for large/complex data.
Good knowledge of ETL processes and Informatica Best Practices.
Ability to gather business requirements from the Business Intelligence team and transform into functional requirements and test plans.
Ensure adherence of projects and initiatives to the data roadmaps, ETL architecture and solutions to address data challenges of the initiatives. Identify shared data sources, components and services.
Map source-to-target elements, design and develop transformation processes to load data from source to target, develop and tune Informatica maps and sessions.
Extensive knowledge in performance tuning, surrogate key assignments and partitioning techniques.
Understanding of Data Quality in Business Intelligence environment is required.
Understanding of change management and production support processes.
Able to provide technical support and mentoring to team members.
Able to prepare implementation plan and contingency plan for supported applications.
Experience with dimensional data modeling techniques.
Knowledge of Oracle database is required.
Willing to provide off-hour support.
Preferred qualifications:
Informatica certification is desirable.
Experience in AIX/ Linux Platform.
Experience in Tidal batch scheduling tool.
