QA Position: This position is a mix of dev and QA
Norhtern VA
3-6+months
This position will be in a semi QA/Analyst role and the skill set needed there is as follows:
1. Basic knowledge about Tomcat, Apache – build installation and testing the installation process
2. Excellent UNIX skills
3. Scripting Languages (Perl, php, Shell script) experience,
4. Execute and understand complex MySQL db querys.
5. SOAP UI (Groovy Scripting is Plus)
6. Experience testing multi-tier applications
7. Selenium IDE – record test cases on selenium RC test suite
8. Trace flow from log and analyze the issue
9. Basic JAVA and Servlet/J2EE
10. Junit Test framework
11. Performance testing – Jmeter is plus
12. Strong SQL skills
13. Experience with Java/mobile applications
14. They will have to troubleshoot issues/look through logs
15. Db queries/updates
