Position: Senior SAP HCM Functional Lead Consultant
Location: Irwindale, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities
· Participate in business blueprinting, analyze business & system requirements
· Map business processes to broad package functionality
· Prepare high as well as detailed level designs
· Convert business requirements into package solution by configuring SAP HCM product accordingly
· Create Proof of Concepts / Conference room Pilots for Key business Requirements
· Review test plans, create and execute test cases, root cause analysis, debugging to ensure defect free delivery
· Ensure delivery as per the project plan, plan proactively for potential cutover issues, and coordinate among team members for smooth Go-Live / deployment of solution
· Conduct training sessions for team members in functional areas, and impart knowledge on business context, solution design, open issues, and act as mentors to support analysts
· Provide a feedback loop on potential impact on package solution for any business process or 3rd party package related constraints
· Coordinate with other project teams on design and architecture related items
· Awareness of the business and technology industry trends and able to provide thought leadership based on strong HCM product knowledge
· Manage small teams apart from reviewing work and guiding with solutions
· Provide effort estimation and impact analysis to design changes
Required Skills:
SAP HCM Functional knowledge is a MUST
Knowledge of compensation planning is a MUST
Understanding of configuration and customizations, gap analysis and proof of concepts of various requirements
Expertise in cross-domain business processes as well as basic BPM tools
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
