Job Requirement:
Telematics / Fleet Management software development with test driven development (TDD) philosophy within scrum (Agile) based environments.
Work within SCRUM teams to implement architectural vision, and lead junior developers.
Ability to work with technical resources from the client side.
Lead and mentor junior JEE developers.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Skill / Experience:
Must have:
5+ years design/development experience with Java EE based large (Big) data, highly scalable, reliable, secure, distributed computing systems.
3+ years of database development experience (DB2, Oracle, JDBC or Hibernate/JPA, etc)
8+ years total of software development experience in a product engineering environment executing full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using OOAD
Experience diagnosing architectural issues and formulating solutions within large scale, large data, federated database (e.g. NoSQL)
Hands-on experience of integration platforms and tools and processes – including configuration management, build and testing
2+ years experience in agile software development methodology
Customer interaction skills – ability to integrate into customer teams
Strong analytical skills - ability to quickly absorb customer requirements
Preferable:
Expertise in IBM Websphere tools, including server configuration and management
Expertise in DB2 (Z/OS and/or LUW) architecture (logical/physical) and tools
Solution architecture experience in JEE5+
Experience in areas of database architecture, design and performance enhancements (SQL tuning).
Expertise in one more database technology (Oracle preferred)
Demonstrated core development competence of successful large data projects in automotive or telecom sector
Experience with commercial and open-source web server, application server platforms and enterprise middleware, system management and security systems.
