Java/J2ee dev with DB2 /iseries,
- Job Description -
Support Java, J2EE application with back end on DB2 on iSeries. Handle production tickets from end users and operations team. Communicate with End users on their issues. Manage end user expectations regarding their issues/support requests and provide solutions/fixes in timely manner. Strong analytical skills to QUERY and analyse relational databases.
Required -
- Strong knowledge of relational databases / stored procedures. DB2 prefered but not mandatory.
- Strong Java language skills
- Good understanding of J2EE components and integration.
- JSP and VB Scripts.
Should be able to use above knowledge to undestand and analyse production issues to provide resolution. Communicate with user and manage expectations.
Daily review of tickets / prioritised and follow organisations process for migrarion and fix of code / data.
Knowledge of wholesale / retail planning systems is plus.
