Description:
Our client is looking for Sr. Quality analyst for 12+ months plus contract in Richfield, MN.
Responsibilities
Complete complex Oracle database validations through SQL queries
Works collaboratively with integrated enterprise systems to complete end-to-end testing
Responsible for platform environment validation throughout the deployment process
Reports to Platform Project Manager
Produces statistics and track metrics on QA testing against the plan and drive improvement ideas based on those metrics
Collaborate with other Mobile platform QA leads and develop testing strategies to create consistent, repeatable thorough testing processes through Mobile
Responsible for delivering iterative test results/progress
Manage, grow and mentor a team of Quality engineers
Manage test data requests to support development and QA testing
Proactively manage automation roadmap and drive team towards continual improvement of the automated regression testing suite
Reviews business requirements with Business analysts
Support UAT activities with platform Business Analysts and Business Owners
Continuously and proactively improve QA practices to improve team's productivity and product quality, including Agile practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of experience in complex Oracle database validations through SQL queries
3+ years of experience in validating reports
3+ years of experience in leading Quality Assurance teams driving implementation and maintenance of automation and manual testing efforts
3+ years in Quality Assurance and working within software industry in an Agile development environment building web based systems
Experience in building, managing and leading QA teams
Experience with cross-functional and remote teams for delivering quality products on a tight schedule
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical coworkers and customers
Comfortable in an agile, fast-paced, evolving environment
Retail experience is a big plus
Technology: SQL
Testing tools: QTP, Bugzilla, SoapUI
