Reconciliation Analysts
Work Location : Boston, MA / Tampa FL.
Position Type : Full Time
Salary : Market
Note: Max experience should not be more than 10 years.
Note: Need profiles with 1-2 years of cost basis, portfolio accounting or reconciliation operations experience.
Finance Associate.
• Researching, resolving, and reconciling any outstanding transactions occurring from daily income accounting, and position reconciliation for cash collateral investment accounts.
• Handling customer inquiries, exercising initiative in researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems, and exercising judgment regarding proper handling of customer requests.
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to retail financial service policies, procedures, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing asset reconciliation daily of the Mutual Funds. Properly identifying all out of balances and taking steps to resolve all breaks daily. Ensuring proper documentation is maintained to
support reconciliation and action.
• Handling account set up, reviewing guidelines and ensuring compliance.
• Assisting in the management (implementation and rebalancing) of client investment portfolios across global fixed income, equity, and alternative investments, including derivatives strategy and
trading.
• Leading or participating in cross-functional group projects to improve quality and efficiency within the team.
• Executing equity, fixed income, and mutual fund trades.
• Researching, resolving, and reconciling any outstanding daily transactions and position reconciliation between Custodian Banks & Internal Portfolio Management Systems.
• Monitoring financial system to ensure all accounting transactions are accurate and complete.
• Researching and resolving all financial system posting errors or discrepancies.
• Providing assistance with the preparation of month & year-end closing and all required financial statements.
• Preparing monthly management reports emphasizing operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends.
• Preparing Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis.
